About ChoresHub

ChoresHub is a family chore management app built by StillRoots. It helps families organize household tasks with gamification features like points, streaks, badges, levels, and allowance tracking. The service includes a two-tier chore system (expected and extra chores), a dual currency system (points for gamification and money for real allowance tracking), and a prize store.

Accounts

• A parent or guardian creates the family account and is responsible for managing it, including all children's accounts within the family.
• Children's accounts are created and managed by the parent. Children do not sign up independently.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials (password and PIN) secure. Do not share your password with others outside your family.
• Each family account is intended for a single household. One parent creates the family, and additional parents or children are added as members.

Acceptable Use

ChoresHub is designed for family household management. By using the service, you agree to:

• Use the app only for its intended purpose: managing family chores, rewards, and allowances
• Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service
• Not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data
• Not use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Not upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content (including avatars and icons)

Financial Tracking Disclaimer

ChoresHub includes allowance and money tracking features to help families manage chore-based rewards. This is a tracking and organizational tool only. ChoresHub is not a bank, financial institution, or payment service. No real money is held, transferred, or processed through the app. The money balances shown in ChoresHub represent amounts that parents manage outside the app (cash, transfers to a savings account, etc.). Points and virtual currencies within ChoresHub have no real-world monetary value.

Intellectual Property

ChoresHub, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by StillRoots. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service. Your family's data (chore records, member information, etc.) remains yours -- you can export or delete it at any time through the app.

Termination

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or remain inactive for an extended period, with notice when possible.
• You can delete your family's data and account at any time through the app's settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
• Upon termination or deletion, all associated data (members, chores, assignments, balances, badges, activity history) is permanently removed.

Limitation of Liability

ChoresHub is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. StillRoots does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StillRoots is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or inability to access the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of ChoresHub after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (such as a notice within the app).
